Without a doubt, Fedora is one of the best Linux distributions available today. Compared to the past, now it has become one of the most robust Linux distributions and also has a large community of users that supports it. With each Fedora distribution, many improvements are added and Fedora is almost stable as Ubuntu. In this guide, I will show you how you can install Fedora using a USB flash drive. To do this, I am going to use a small utility software called "Win32 Disk Imager". You can download Win32 Disk Imager from their official website and install it on your PC. When you are downloading, make sure to download the latest version of the software to ensure that you get all the benefits.

The next thing we have to do is download the ISO file of Fedora, which we later copy to the USB flash drive. You can download the ISO file of Fedora directly from their website. Once is it downloaded, now we can move to the USB flash drive preparation stage.

Follow the steps above to create your bootable USB flash drive.

  • Install Win32 Disk Imager on your PC and launch it.

  • Copy the Fedora ISO file into the Win32 Disk Imager.

  • Click on the "Start" button to start the creation process. It will take a few minutes to complete and you should not rush or force it.

  • Win32 Disk Imager will notify you once your USB flash drive is ready.

  • Leave the USB flash drive on your PC and restart your PC to boot from it.

  • If your BIOS settings are configured correctly, your PC will boot using the USB flash drive. If not, you may have to configure your boot order.

  • Once this is done, we have to wait a bit, and a screen will appear that gives us the option to test the system without having to install and the option to start the installation process.

  • Continue with the "Install" option.

  • After that, you will have to select a partition to install Fedora or choose the complete hard drive. We highly recommend you to install Fedora on a different partition.

  • Once this is defined, you have to click on "Done" and you will return to the main screen of the installation wizard and the installation process of Fedora will start automatically.

Setup Wizard will show you a message once the installation is completed. In the end, you will only have to eject the USB flash drive and restart your PC. We hope that this guide helps you to experience the brilliancy of Fedora.
