Graduation style:

Side Buckles – These are commercially available fasteners in paracord survival bracelets that you can find at most sports stores. They are usually quite reliable hard plastic.

Knots and buttons – I made a few of these and they look really good. I attach a green BDU style button to my bracelet. The law enforcement agency I work for is the same color as green and gold. I threaded gold to sew green buttons on my elite blue paracord bracelet.

Now let's make the bracelet.

All you need is a regular black paracord, preferably a 550 paracord. You will also need about 6 to 8 inches of blue paracord. I think by now you've done your research and know-how to make a standard cobra woven bracelet.

Step One – Start Your Simple Cobra Stitch. I usually do two operands before moving on to step two.

Step Two – Plug in both ends of the blue wire you wish to use. Try to make it flat. I used pliers to secure this. Now, run one end of the blue thread under one of the top stitches on the cobra you made and pull the stitch tight.

At this point, you should have a good looking bracelet that not only looks fashionable but can also help you with your paracord in a pinch. The advantage of this particular model is that it shows your support to law enforcement officers and the difficult tasks they perform on a daily basis.
